Linda is a self-taught artist based in rural Herefordshire. Her studio is at the bottom of the garden, where she is inspired by listening to the sheep/cows/birds throughout the day, whilst she works. She enjoys working with oil, charcoal or acrylic.
Her freehand drawing/paintings capture the personality, movement and essence of British animals. This is portrayed in painterly gestures, direction lines and tonal nuances.
She has years of experience of drawing from direct observation and is honoured to have her work accepted in to the Mall Galleries, London (New English Art Club - NEAC, Royal Oil Institute - ROI & Discerning Eye), Leicester Museum and Art Gallery, Derby Museum, Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) & Rapido Exhibition, Chelsea, London.
